Midland Scientific Adds Compact Chamber Furnaces

Midland Scientific of Omaha, NE has added the Nabertherm N 40 E, N 60 E, N 60 LE, N 100 E Compact Chamber Furnace product line. Midland Scientific currently offers LT Professional Muffle furnaces, N Series for laboratory annealing and heat treating, LHT high temperature furnaces and the high temperature tube furnace product lines including the RHTC, RHTH and the RHTV. This product line represents a great value featuring robust German design, craftsmanship and quality for every day laboratory use.
The N 40 E, N 60 E, N 60 LE and N 100 E are constructed with a multi-layer lining using light weight insulating bricks and a micro-porous panel insulation to keep the rugged texturized stainless steel shell cool while reducing power consumption. It also features a rugged double walled stainless steel door with a safety switch that removes the power to the elements when the door is opened. The long lasting heavy gauge heating elements are embedded in grooves for protection and provides heating from two sides. The Compact Chamber Furnace is available in 3 sizes including the 40 liter (2440 in3) , 60 liter (3660 in3) and 100 liter (6100 in3) . The maximum temperature is rated at 1300 C with the N 60 LE version rated at 1200 C. This furnace is very versatile and can be used for ashing and other standard laboratory procedures or for decorating porcelain and glass as well as pottery and fused glass applications.
